We just got information from a credible source in Nigeria that the incorruptible and efficient Nigerian defense forces arrested about 39 men suspected to be the trainers of the Ambazonia Guerrilla fighters (who have just been ousted from Manyu division, Cameroon by the LRC forces). The 39 suspects  were apprehended on Thursday, the 4th of January,2018 by the Nigerian security forces in the town of Nguroje, in the country’s North Eastern Taraba State.

Many eyewitnesses  said the alleged trainers of the “Ambazonia guerilla fighters” have been loitering in the area for more than two weeks now and having training sessions on gun shooting.

The arrested Ambazonia warlords were then handed over to the Nigerian police divisional headquarters in the town of Gembu for interrogation. 

After hours of interrogation, the potential Ambazonia guerrilla fighters said they were just refugees who also fled the war in Manyu. However the wise and incorruptible Nigerian police force were very quick to recognize their flimsy excuse as a cock and bull story gainsaying that if they were refugees, they would have reported their arrival in the area to any security agency or any appropriate authority.

As you read this post, the 39 alleged trainers of the Ambazonia guerrilla fighters ( whose age range is between 30 and 40 years) are under serious investigation. Their fate will be determine after their ulterior motives have been revealed. Nevertheless there is a high probability that they will be extradited to Cameroon. If that happens, president Biya will waste no time in persecuting and sending them to the Kodengui maximum security prison. For those of you who don,t know, President Biya clearly mentioned in his 2017 end of year speech that all those people who have taken up arms, who perpetrate or encourage violence will be fought relentlessly and held accountable before the courts of law.

So president Biya may likely use this 39 potential Ambazonia guerilla fighters to set a good example.

As a reminder, last month (i.e. on the 8th of December,2017 during the peak of the battle in Manyu division), the Nigerian high commissioner to Cameroon: H.E Lawan Labba Gashagar, paid a working visit to Cameroon, specifically to discuss about the bilateral relationship between Cameroon and Nigeria with the Cameroon minister of territorial administration and decentralization; Rene Emmanuel Sadi. The two diplomats also discussed about the Anglophone crisis owing to the fact that some Cameroon refugees had crossed the border to seek refuged in Nigeria as a result of the battle in Manyu division. After a 30 minutes audience with the Cameroon minister of territorial administration, the Nigerian high commissioner to Cameroon: H.E Lawan Labba Gashagar told the press that the Nigerian government (Muhammadou Buhari) supports a return to peace and the preservation of Cameroon territorial integrity. The Nigerian high commissioner to Cameroon also reaffirm his country's commitment to reinforce security within the border towns so that Nigeria should not be perceived as a safe haven for terrorists. The diplomat concluded by saying that Dialogue is the best way of tackling the Anglophone crisis.

The news we just got today, clearly suggest that Nigeria is committed to ensuring that Cameroon remains one and indivisible& peaceful.
