I Just learnt that the blacks living in Haiti, El Salvador and other predominantly black countries, will protest against Donald Trump’s alleged racist remarks.
On Monday the 15th of January, 2018, a similar rally was also held in US. The black Americans in New Jersey, Atlanta, Houston and other predominant black states in US gathered at Time Square to protest against Trump's 'shithole' remarks.
It should be noted that the 15th of January, 2018 was Martin Luther,s day; a day set aside for honoring the achievements of Martin Luther King, Jr.,who was tragically assassinated on April 4, 1968 due to his role in civil rights and racial equality fight. The Day is a Federal holiday in the U.S. It falls on the third Monday of every January and this year celebration marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King.
As a reminder, the Democrats allegedly claim that the U.S. president made that racist comment during a meeting with congressional leaders in the Oval Office on Thursday the 11th of January,2018.
According to the Democrats, this is what Trump said...
“Why are we having all these people from s—hole countries come here?” Trump allegedly said after being presented with a proposal to restore protections for immigrants from the countries in question.
The US President Donald Trump has refuted that allegation clearly stating that he isn,t a racist. Nevertheless it seems like many people have believed the allegation levied against Trump due to the fact that Trump is fond of making weird comments. Remember! during his debate with Hillary Clinton, he called her a "NASTY WOMAN". During the 2017 UN assembly meeting, Trump threatened to wipe out North Korea. Those who have been following up his tweets will impulsively believe Trump said that.
