November is over and no good dance-able Christmas celebration song was released by any Cameroonian artist to spice up this 2017 Xmas celebration period. In addition to that, the recent order passed by president Biya, for the Cameroon Military to beef up security in the North West and South West region of Cameroon has made many Anglophone Cameroonians uncertain about how this 2017 Xmas celebration period will be like or what the upcoming year i.e 2018 will look like.

Just before the Anglophone Cameroonians were about to give up on the 2017 Xmas celebration, the Alpha Better Records chefs i.e. Salatiel, Akwando and Big Joe (on the Beat) (AKA the three Musketeers ) went to the kitchen and prepared a delicious meal to spice up this 2017 Christmas period.

On the 1st of December,2017 Alpha Better Records released the 2017 Xmas and New year celebration song that many Cameroonians have been waiting for.

 The song titled Higher Higher;  recorded by the Alpha Better Records members i.e. Salatiel, Mr Leo, Blaise Bsings and Askia was published on YouTube on the 1st of December.

After watching the video of the song on YouTube just once, i was fully convinced that the song will not only be the song that would be playing in every household in Cameroon during this 2017 Xmas period but the standard Xmas and Newyear celebration song that will be playing in every household in Cameroon for many years to come replacing the Old (traditional) Boney M Xmas Songs we usually listen to.

The song contain a catchy autotune vocal (Pa rum pum pum pum) sampled from the popular Xmas song titled LITTLE DRUMMER BOY recorded by Boney M in the 70s; giving the song Higher Higher an Xmas carol vibe.

 Like i said before, the song Higher Higher was produced by Salatiel, Akwando and Big Joe on the beat; the three extremely talented beatmakers of Alpha Better Records. Just barely 2 days after the released of this potential Xmas hit song, it has been played more than 33, 000 times on YouTube.Enjoy the song!!!!.
